I think my heart couldn't be as full as it is today. For a long time, we have wanted to take a group of our students to give out food bags because we want to teach them to love and serve their own people with God's love and learn what it feels like to give to others. So we did just this with our discipleship students! Everyone one of them jumped out of the truck, gave a food bag to someone, (along with candy to the kids), and prayed with them. It was so touching to see them do this with no hesitation! We even got to visit the feeding kitchens and they served the kids their food just like we do with American groups!
We finished the day by heading over to the waterfalls and letting them swim a little and then had a time of reflection about our experience that day. God is doing amazing things in these students and we are so excited to see them go from just regular believers to true disciples just like Jesus called us to be!! Please keep these kids in your prayers. We are so proud of them!!
