BECOME A MINISTRY PARTNER - Power of 2

THE POWER OF 2
We have started a new program that we hope you will join us with. It is called the Power of 2. This program has the power to change lives. This is a true partnership which can lead to huge results. Like a good marriage, the power of 2 requires commitment and based on trust and love for others. The potential is significant - especially if you are willing to participate.

There are three easy steps in this program.
Step 1 - You will commit to giving $2 a month to our ministry. Even if you already support our ministry or if you have never given before, you will commit to this amount each month online.

Step 2 - You will promise to tell at least one person about how they can help spread the Gospel of Christ and help the poor through the Good Samaritan Mission by joining the Power of 2 and contributing $2 a month.

Step 3 - You will explain to the person you talk to how they need to ask someone they know to commit also. This will make you a representative of our work and the work of our Lord.

What does this cost you?

Financially, you are only committing to $2 extra dollars each month. About the price of a couple of Cokes.

How long does this take?

You can do this in about 15 minutes. Just pick up the phone and call a friend. Talk to them about this and explain how important it is for all of us to come together in these hard times so we can reach people for our Lord Jesus Christ. Ask them to do the same with their friends. You can also copy and paste this and send it out to your email contacts. Even if you do this, be sure and call at least one person on the phone personally.

Where will the funds Go?

All of the funds that are raised through the Power of 2 will go to fund National Pastors preaching the word of God who are living on little support. Many of these men live on less than $100 a month. Some of the funds will also go to our Bible School which trains young men to become preachers and pastors. We will have a special section on our website showing the members of the Power of 2.

Do you know that the binary system that computers use works with the Power of 2. Why, this is way that information is processed because 1x1 = 1 but 2x2 =4 and 4x4 = 16 and so on. This is how information is duplicated and if you will join us, the possibilities are unimaginable.

How do I Join?

Welcome to the Good Samaritan Baptist Mission Website

The purpose of the Good Samaritan Baptist Mission for forty years has been to preach the Gospel to spiritually starving people in Central America. God called Bob Tyson to leave his home in Villa Rica, Georgia and travel to a land he had never heard of. After arriving in Nicaragua, he knew that without God’s help he would surely fail. Little did he know, that 40 years later, this mission would grow into a massive force with hundreds of pastors and churches throughout Central America with Eleven Christian Radio Stations, Five Christian Schools, and thousands of hungry children being fed everyday. We also prepare and support National Pastors for the ministry in our Bible School in Honduras. There are 240 Churches established with men called by God to win their own people to the Lord.

Bob Tyson in 2007 went on to be with the Lord. His sons Philip and Steve Tyson and his wife Joan Tyson are now leading the work. We are not just a mission board, we are a Baptist Ministry with the purpose of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Lost in Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Mexico.
