50 Saved and 8 Baptized. God is Working

Let us tell you about what God is doing at this church in Azacualpa, Honduras. Just recently their pastor felt led to leave the church and go somewhere so Pastor Belarmino Rios from our church in Tapaire accepted the call to come pastor here. No one truly wanted him to leave Tapaire because he had such a good ministry going there, but God had other plans. When he came to Azacualpa, he found a church that was struggling and he got to work. Pastor Belarmino started to preach and the Holy Spirit started to touch hearts. He has been there for almost 2 months now and there have been 50 people who has surrendered their hearts to Jesus!! There is a revival in Azacualpa! Pastor Belarmino is also discipling these people to help them grow spiritually in their faith. In the picture below, we took a group to this church to take food bags and Bibles, and as they waited for us, Pastor Belarmino felt led to preach to them and 9 got saved that morning!!! It is so exciting to see what God is doing through our faithful pastors!! Please pray for this church and their pastor. God is using them greatly!

We joined a baptismal service in our church in the mountains of Duyure! 8 people were baptized and we had the privilege of having Pastor Stephen McLane from Tanglewood Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina to baptize these people. We heard a sweet testimony about one of the women being baptized. When she got saved, she was living with someone and had not gotten married yet, but she wanted to make things right with God. So she traveled high up into the mountains to search for coffee beans in order to sell them to make enough money for her and her partner to get married. She did this and now you see her getting baptized today!! That is someone who truly was transformed when they gave their lives to Jesus!! It's a blessing to see God work in the lives of these sweet and humble people. They may not have much, but if they have Jesus, they have everything!
