 This is going to be more of a Picture Blog than anything else. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. In some cases, I would say a Million Words. The Feed the Hungry Program in Nicaragua is smaller than it is in Honduras but still hundreds of Children's lives are being changed physically, spiritually and emotionally. You may ask "Why Emotionally?" Because these children now feel like there life is worth something. They now smile, laugh, play and they now have hope. Below are some pictures that will tell a story of what our ministry is doing for these Children in Condega and La Trinidad, Nicaragua.
The pictures below were taken at the Feeding Center in Condega, Nicaragua. This center was constructed thanks to the members of Glen Haven Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia. They have supported this Feeding Center for many years. Our Elementary School in Condega, Nicaragua is a place of learning and spiritual growth. The school goes from first to sixth Grade with many children Sponsored. Below is our School in La Trinidad, Nicaragua. The faculty and Parents named the School after my Mother, Joan Tyson who founded the School many years ago. One last Picture. Children who are Sponsored through the Opportunity of a Lifetime Program not only get a free meal and free education but their sponsors in the United States are able to purchase special gifts for them. You cannot imagine how it feels to see the joy that comes over a child's face when he or she receives a special gift. Here is a little boy who had always dreamed of having a bicycle and his dream came true.  There are still hundreds of Children waiting to be Sponsored.
