Update on Samaritan Radio

Today, September 26th, we are celebrating Samaritan Radio Network’s 28th anniversary. Help to celebrate and join us in praising the Lord for the many souls who have been redeemed while listening these 28 years we have been on the air.

Please pray for the two-day “radio marathon” which we are having today and tomorrow. This is an opportunity for the listeners to give and to share testimonies of what the radio has meant to them and their families’ lives. We are going to try to be live on Facebook at some point during the broadcast on Friday.

We are still praising the Lord for the good response to the email we sent out earlier this month.
 
As an update:

1. All four FM stations are up and running at full potential.
2. Our main station in Tegucigalpa has been upgraded from “critical” to “fair” condition.
3. We have the AM station in Choluteca back on the air.
4. This leaves our AM station in Comayagua and the AM station in La Ceba off the air at this time.

 
Our greatest needs at this point are to first meet the monthly budget, and then we must make repairs to the radio tower in La Ceba. The salt water and harsh weather conditions on the coast have corroded the tower and it has become unsafe. Repairs will have to be made to the tower or we will need to take it down.
 
”Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” So many of you have been faithful to pray and support us for many years and we want to thank you. We celebrate you as well for your faithfulness! Thank you for your prayers and giving to this work of the Lord.
